The Head Race at Doncaster ( the South Yorkshire Head ) produced some smashing results for the club

Congratulations to all involved - commiserations to those who did not quite make the medals after valiant attempts. Thanks also to all those went to support, dealt with the trailer, coached and enthused.  A good but muddy day was had by all.

Yet More Water 9/2/01

The Floods paid the Clubhouse another visit on Thursday evening 8th Feb when the waters again entered the boathouse and the bottom boats had to be moved higher.

By Friday the water was out again - never the less it did make this winter one of the worst in memory for disruption to normal training and activities.

Sympathy also goes to St Peters who had to scratch from the South Yorkshire Head as they could not get to their boathouse to get the boats required for the Head.

Our boats were taken out on Thursday afternoon by a kindly bunch of volunteers to whom we extend our thanks.
